Each position is different and therefore may have a different set of essential and desirable criteria. Therefore to ensure you have fully demonstrated the criteria for each role we ask you that you complete an application form each time.

You need to be 16 and have officially left school. This is typically the last weekend in June.

Unless you have an electronic signature to insert, we ask that you type in your full name. If you are then selected for interview, you will be asked to sign your form at this point. We do ask you not to sign any other part of your application form, only where it states you to.

You can submit your completed application pack by 11.59pm on the day the post closes, unless a time is specified on the advert.

You can send your completed application form back to us by one of three ways: Online - the easiest way to return your completed application form is on the website. Email - if you have downloaded the form you can email it to recruitment@sypte.co.uk. Post - alternatively, your completed application can be posted to SYPTE, PO Box 801, Sheffield, S2 5YT. Please note your application must be received by the closing date.

Once the closing date has passed you cannot apply for a post. Any application received will be noted as late and will not be considered.

Once you submit your application online, you will receive an e-mail notification confirming receipt of your application.

All our posts are short listed within six weeks of the closing date. If you have been short listed you will be invited to attend an interview.

This will be communicated either by email, telephone or letter. You will receive an interview letter, location map and any other relevant information you may need.

If you were unsuccessful after your interview we aim to contact you within five working days to inform you of the outcome. Feedback will then be provided by the relevant Human Resources team member. Please note this may take up to 10 working days.

All our offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, references, and where appropriate an occupational health (medical) screening and CRB checks. Initially you will receive a provisional offer letter. Once all clearances have been received your full job description and terms and conditions of employment will be sent to you.
