Travel Advice for Education and Safety tackles the perception that public transport is less safe than other forms of getting around. The team works mainly with schools, public transport operators and South Yorkshire Police to develop schemes that address this perception and promote a shift in thinking. The team focuses on providing personalised, tailored advice to individuals, community groups, and public and private sector organisations within South Yorkshire.
