South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) would like to inform parents that there may be a change to their child’s bus service in September.
At the end of July bus operator Stagecoach withdrew some services in the Barnsley area, for commercial reasons, many of which were used by young people during term time.
To avoid confusion SYPTE are urging parents whose children travel by bus to the schools listed below, to find out whether there has been any change to their journey before term begins.
They can do this by calling Traveline on 01709 51 51 51, visiting any Travel Information Centre or logging onto the Travel South Yorkshire website - travelsouthyorkshire.com
