Bus service changes 25-26 April

During the weekend of 25 and 26 April there will be changes to some bus services in South Yorkshire and passengers are being advised to check as soon as possible to see if their service has been affected.

Information about the forthcoming service changes can be found:

• at bus stops
• in information centres
• in leaflets displayed on most buses
• on the Travel South Yorkshire website - travelsouthyorkshire.com - where passengers can download all bus timetables
• in the local press.

To ensure bus users are kept up to date, they can also register for a free online alert service on the Travel South Yorkshire website.

By registering on the website they will automatically be sent an email when there is a change to their regular bus service.

For more information about all bus services, log on to the Journey Planner at travelsouthyorkshire.com or call Traveline on 01709 51 51 51.

South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) is the driving force behind the development of public transport networks in South Yorkshire.

SYPTE implements the decisions of South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority (SYPTA), which is made up of 12 elected councillors from Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.

Last year SYPTA was crowned PTA of the Year at the National Transport Awards for its development and delivery of cutting edge projects that have improved the quality, reliability and image of public transport in the region.

SYPTA and SYPTE are members of the Travel South Yorkshire partnership.  The aim of the partnership is to bring public transport together, encourage more people to use it, make it easier to understand and deliver new, innovative public transport products and services.   All the transport operators in the county are also members of the Travel South Yorkshire partnership.
