Sheffield bus service changes

21 January 2014

This weekend (on 25, 26 and 27 January 2014) there will be changes to some bus services in Sheffield and across South Yorkshire. Passengers are being advised to check as soon as possible to see if their service has been affected.

Information about these service changes can be found on the Travel South Yorkshire website; at bus stops in Sheffield city centre and in leaflets displayed on most buses; in Travel South Yorkshire information centres and interchanges; or by calling Traveline on 01709 51 51 51.

Bus services with timetable or route changes in Sheffield include:

- First services 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 35, 36, 37, 38, 47, 48, 51, 52, X78, 81, 82, 84, 85, 97 and 98
- Stagecoach services X17, 44, 52, 57, 87, 123 and SL
- TM Travel services 13, 13A, 17, 38, 85, 85A and 271
- Sheffield Community Transport services 5, 10, 10A, M20, P1 and P2

Bus timetable changes in Sheffield take place three times a year. Bus users can keep up to date by registering for a free timetable alert service on the Travel South Yorkshire website, which automatically sends an email when there is a change to their regular service.

Sheffield Bus Partnership brings together South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE), Sheffield City Council, and local bus operators in a bid to improve the city’s bus offer.

It provides customers with a simpler bus network, coordinated timetables, a new range of tickets which can be used on buses or trams, more services on many routes, fewer changes to timetables, and more buses with low-floor-access.
