Number 4 bus community meeting

07 March 2013

What: Drop-in session about the number 4 bus (Psalter Lane)
When: Monday 11 March, 10am – 12 noon
Where: Shirley House, St Andrew’s Church, 31 Psalter Lane, Sheffield, S11 8YL

The number 4 TM Travel bus runs from Sheffield Interchange to Bents Green via Psalter Lane. It was scheduled for withdrawal but reinstated through the Sheffield Bus Partnership (SBP) in October 2012 following feedback from local people.

The bus is very much a people’s service and has grown in popularity, especially among residents in the area, with over 1,300 passengers a week now using the service. Because of this, the SBP is looking to develop a community partnership for the number 4 bus. The idea is that local people who use it can become ‘friends’ of the bus and support the service.

People are invited to drop into Shirley House, St Andrew’s Church on 11 March to suggest how best the number 4 can serve them.
