The interchange has drop off facilities on Schwabish Gmunde Way (railway side). Rail Park & Ride offers:

  • 74 standard parking spaces
  • 6 accessible parking spaces
  • 2 'parent and child' parking spaces 


Barnsley Interchange also has:

  • full accessibility for all users including those with mobility, hearing and visual impairments
  • 3 lifts, 2 escalators and ramps
  • an enclosed footbridge connecting the concourse of the interchange with the rail station
  • raised kerbs at bus stop bays to help people get on and off the buses more easily and safetly
