The South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Authority and the Executive jointly with Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council have commenced formal consultation on their proposals to introduce a Quality Bus Partnership Scheme for Doncaster in July 2009 covering bus services using the new Doncaster Frenchgate Interchange and improved town centre facilities.
Jointly they believe the proposed scheme will increase passenger usage by raising the quality of bus services using these facilities and improving accessibility, safety, training, cleanliness and reliability.
The Scheme will also ensure local services will operate with low emission, low floor accessible buses.
