SYPTE have a number of customer facing departments, who actively promote their services throughout South Yorkshire. These services now form a major role within Travel South Yorkshire.

• SYPTE run five park and ride sites across Sheffield which are linked with the Supertram Service. • We also provide Rural Bus services. Rural bus services provide vital links for people who don't have access to their own transport. • SAFE - Supporting A Friendly Environment - addresses the perception that public transport is less safe than other forms of transport. The SAFE Team works primarily with schools, public transport operators and South Yorkshire Police to develop schemes to address this perception and promote modal shift. • SYPTE also co-ordinate and sell a range of ticketing and travel passes for travel in and around South Yorkshire. • TOPS stands for Travel Options Planning Service and aims to provide people in South Yorkshire with information about all the 'Travel Options' available to them. TOPS focuses on providing personalised, tailored advice to individuals, community groups and public and private sector organisations within South Yorkshire. They offer services to both travellers and businesses within South Yorkshire.
