South Yorkshire bus service changes

CHANGES to some bus services in South Yorkshire will take place this weekend (on 2, 3 and 4 September 2017). Passengers are being advised to check as soon as possible to see if their service has been affected.

Information about the service changes can be found on the Travel South Yorkshire website travelsouthyorkshire.com/servicechanges, in Travel South Yorkshire interchanges, at bus stops, on-board buses or by calling Traveline on 01709 51 51 51.

The changes which are being made under the Bus Partnership’s will include:

- Sheffield Stagecoach services 1, 2, 7, 25, 31b, 52, 57, 72, 83a, 86, 88, 120, 256, SL2 and 737, First services,1a, 3, 3a, 8/8a, 18, 18a, 19, 20, 22a/22c, 24, 27, 28, 35, 36, 38, 38a, 40, 41, 43, 51, 51a, 52a, 56, 66, 70/71, 72, 72a, 73, 74, 74a, 75/76, 81/82, 83, 85, 96, 97/98, 120, 136, 271/272, X5, X54, X55, TM Travel service 26/27a and Sheffield Community Transport services 31/31a (operated by Stagecoach) and 32(operated by TM Travel).

-Barnsley Stagecoach services 2, 67/67a, 201, 217, 222, 265 and Yorkshire Tiger services 72/72a, 200.

- Doncaster First service 50/50a and Stagecoach services 99, 217, 220, 222, 737.

- Rotherham First services 13, 22a/22c, 23, 27, 28, 29, 29a, 34, 36, 37, 40, 43, 66,67, 70/71, 72, 72a, 73, 73a, 74, 74a, 114, 136, 137, 139, 140, 141, 142, X5, X54, X55, Stagecoach services 106, 108,109, 217, 220, 222, 737, TM Travel service 26/26a and 138 and Yorkshire Tiger service 200.

Bus, tram and train services change throughout the year to improve punctuality and reliability, following customer requests and to improve access to employment. Bus users can keep up to date by registering for a free timetable alert service on the Travel South Yorkshire website, which automatically sends an email when there is a change to their regular service.
